Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BossTyper ("bosstyper.com", the "Service"), operated by BOSS Software ("Blazendary", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BossTyper. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

BossTyper is a free, ad-supported competitive typing trainer that offers typing games, progressive lessons, daily challenges, multiplayer races, leaderboards, XP/leveling, and achievements. A premium tier may be offered in the future. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts & Conduct

You may use BossTyper as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its security. You agree to the following rules:

• No cheating. You may not use scripts, macros, auto-typers, browser extensions, or any other tool to artificially inflate your typing speed or scores.
• No bots. Automated accounts or bot-driven gameplay is prohibited.
• No offensive usernames. Usernames that are vulgar, hateful, discriminatory, impersonate others, or are otherwise inappropriate will be removed without notice.
• No manipulation of leaderboards. Creating multiple accounts, colluding with other users, or exploiting bugs to gain an unfair ranking is prohibited.
• No abuse. You may not harass, threaten, or disrupt other users in any way, including in multiplayer modes.

We reserve the right to remove any content, reset scores, or suspend accounts that violate these rules at our sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on BossTyper — including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, sounds, game mechanics, lesson content, and branding — is the property of BOSS Software (Blazendary) and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Custom text submitted by users remains the intellectual property of the original author. By submitting custom text to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that text within BossTyper.

5. Boss Pro Subscriptions

Boss Pro is an optional paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before you pay. It is currently sold only to customers in the United States. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy Pro.

• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged the then-current price until you cancel.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the Pro page using Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds. Except as described here or required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partly used billing periods.
• Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. It takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

6. Public Chat and Shared Content

Messages in public chat and texts shared with the community are visible to everyone. Do not post personal information about yourself or anyone else (full names, addresses, phone numbers, schools or social media accounts), harassment or hate, sexual content, spam or advertising, or anything illegal. Students who join through a teacher's class code do not have an account and cannot post in public chat.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. To report a message or a user, email dev@blazendary.com with the username and what happened.

7. Copyright Complaints

If you believe something on BossTyper infringes your copyright, email dev@blazendary.com with: your name and contact details; the work you believe was infringed; a link to the content on BossTyper; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing material and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to operate the Service, including account information, typing scores, and visit logs. We do not sell your personal data. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. This includes, but is not limited to, violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

If we close your account without cause while you have an active Pro subscription, we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.

10. Limitation of Liability

BossTyper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BOSS Software (Blazendary) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of scores, or interruption of service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK or another country whose laws let you bring claims in your home courts or give you consumer protections that cannot be waived, nothing in this section takes those rights away.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects paid subscriptions, we will tell Pro subscribers by email before it applies. Your continued use of BossTyper after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
